Field Trip Information
We offer self-guided field trips each fall to help expose young children to local agriculture. As farmers, we know the food chain starts long before the grocery store, and we are here to help your students get a glimpse of life at the orchard! These field trips are geared towards early elementary-aged students, PreK-3rd grade.
Our self-guided tours at the orchard are a fantastic way to engage with nature and learn about the vital role of pollination and honeybees in apple development. The option to explore the pollination trail at one's own pace allows for a customizable learning experience. Teachers are able to adapt to the students' preferences and deliver the right amount of education and play throughout the visit!
Admission is $5.00 per student or adult chaperone, and it includes access to walk through the apple orchard, pumpkin patches, sunflower field, and the Barnyard Play Area activities. It also includes a wagon ride through the orchard and a ride on the Cow Train. Please note that we may have to divide your group in order to give everyone a wagon ride; adult supervision is required.
Should you need to cancel, we charge a $50 cancellation fee, OR you can reschedule for a future date within the 2024 season at no additional fee with 24 hours' notice (based on availability).
